Time is a very important part in the life of every mankind, this could make or nail you if proper attention is not given to it. For proper understanding, it’s pertinent we give an insight into what the word “Time management” means, my own definition of it is that it’s the totality and absolute usage of a peculiar period to give an answer to a particular purpose, satisfying the purpose in the frame of the period provided without any fault.
The above definition brought about some questions such as “where am I”, “why should I be here” and lastly “what would I gain for being here” ? It’s important to know that “time management ” can never have its ground gained without the aforementioned. Moreover, the importance of asking the question “where am I” tends to be the foundation of your path to great success in “time management”. It’s a question that awakens the spirit, raises ones consciousness and helps one to gel well with one’s environment thus preparing you for the task ahead with all your minds and thoughts acquainting with your present life.
More so, your next way of knowing how to manage your time comes from the next question “why should I be here”. if you can’t identify the reason why you are performing a task ,it’s better you don’t bother yourself at all, it’s important to know the reason why the needed step need to be taken, create a big picture for yourself to achieve your goals remains to be your strength. People fail so many times ,great men are only remembered by their achievement, people forget they failed easily because they were able to stand to it and bring something out of nothing.
Summarily, the above discussed won’t sound meaningful if you don’t ask the question “what would I gain for being here”. This is so important…what do you wish to be remembered for…someone who could pull strings with the time given? Or someone whose time was never enough to achieve greater things….think twice!
Its important to know that the word “Focus” is very important when it comes to time management. Always be ready ,be positive, don’t doubt your ability to achieve all you intend to achieve, it is said that slow and steady wins the race…but to me its better to be fast and consistent. Focus remains the instrument to use to achieve such feat. It’s pertinent I talk about the main enemy of time management…its called “procrastination”….never give it a chance in your life ,it draws you back and makes you stagnant. Manage your time adequately and live in your own discovered world where time management rules.
