To be proud of self can also be reffered to as having a strong self-esteem.
It’s not about the size of your gifting it’s more about the use and nurturing of same.
It’s not about your attainment but the quality of it. No wonder there are excellent gatemen and there are useless Doctors.

People who are proud of themselves tend to have passions in life, they feel content and set good examples for others. We need to foster the development of healthy or authentic self-esteem by trusting your own being.

Being proud of yourself requires envisioning the person you would like to become and making your best efforts to grow as an individual. It may not look fantastic to others but it remains the best thing to you. It’s called living your life on your own terms. That’s the point where the rapidity of the change of gear of your neighbour doesn’t determine how you change yours.

List your personal goals. These can be fairly simple, such as organizing your bedroom, or you can set bigger goals, such as going back to school, expanding your business, committing to humanitarian services and so on.

Do it today! The action you take is an activation of your faith.

Be proud of yourself.
Take care of your body and personal appearance. If you’re plus sized rock it well. Slim framed? Enjoy it. Ensure you live healthy though. Exercises might not be out of place.

People who take care of themselves physically tend to have higher self-esteem than those who neglect their physical well-being. Wear clothes that fit and make you feel proud of your body. Each morning, spend time making yourself attractive and presentable.

Put your best foot forth

Educate yourself. Read books and news articles, keep abreast of current affairs and discuss issues with your friends and family. It’s disastrous that some can’t sustain a decent intellectual discussion simply because they failed to feed their minds.

People who take care of their minds and have a thirst for knowledge often feel proud of themselves and their achievements.

The world has grown selfish, if you leave your trumpet unblown, it will rust. The one you’re waiting on to blow it for you is busy blowing his!

Each day, give yourself compliments and words of support. You might feel uncomfortable doing so at first, but over time it can become second nature if you take the practice seriously. Tell yourself you are worthy, intelligent, caring and compassionate or use other adjectives that make you feel good about yourself. Learn to celebrate and self-reward your little wins.

Walk tall. There is so much about you that is good, regardless of what you have been told. Choose to believe in who you are and be proud of that. Comparing yourself with another is an insult on your uniqueness.
You’re God’s greatest deal!
If you don’t celebrate yourself, who will? THINK!
